Description
Our esteemed staff member Rabbi Yitzchok N. Stroh purchased this book at a used bookstore and noticed that it identifies (pages 50,51,342) the name of the composer of the popular Hasidic melody “Utsu eitsa” as Rabbi Zishe Ajzenstadt, the Rebbe of Tsoysmer (Sandomierz). Rabbi Stroh contacted Rabbi Duvid Mayer Rus of Mechon Shirei Duvid (Brooklyn, NY), an expert in Hasidic music, who excitedly told him that researchers had been searching for its composer for years.
