Contributions are needed to acquire, digitize, and transcribe materials. By contributing funds, you help make the work we do at Project Zikaron possible, and we greatly appreciate your patronage.
Donations are tax-deductible for US residents.
Donations of materials play a vital role in the growth and preservation efforts of Project Zikaron. We are deeply grateful for every offer we receive. While we would love to accept all materials, we are sometimes unable to do so due to factors such as copyright considerations, duplication, or items that fall outside the scope of our collection.
Due to the high volume of materials offered to us, we are unable to provide a specific timeline for when donated items will be digitized and made available on Project Zikaron. All donations must be given without conditions. We only arrange to borrow materials in cases where they are exceptionally rare.
If we determine that your materials are a good fit for our collection, you will receive an email with mailing instructions. Please send only the items that have been approved. Any unapproved materials will be returned.
If you have materials you would like to donate, we invite you to complete the form below.
Project Zikaron is a large and growing initiative dedicated to documenting and preserving the history of Jewish communities around the world. This work requires significant time, care, and attention to detail to ensure that materials are made accessible for future generations.
Because of the scope of this effort, we welcome volunteers who are interested in contributing to this meaningful and lasting project. Volunteers assist with a variety of tasks, including indexing, translation, correspondence, management, and other aspects of building and enhancing the website.
If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the form below. We will contact you if your skills match our current needs.
