This Yiddish version is a translation from original Russian, which was published in several installments in Yevreiskaya Starina in 1913-1914. Merimzon’s name is mentioned on p. 15, his age of 75 years is mentioned on p. 3, and the names of his parents, Yosef and Mere, are mentioned on p. 97. Most has been translated into English and published here.
