Description

The ledger contains the following: the Yizkor prayers; E-l Male Raḥamim (prayer for the deceased); a Mi-Sheberakh prayer for the welfare of the gabbaim (trustees); and the names of some 60 deceased individuals for whom prayers were said. The border of the title page bears a short poem exhorting man to reflect on his immortality.
